HOW IT WORKS
From Question to Change
Every question you ask passes through a powerful AI pipeline — analyzed for quality, visualized for clarity, and put to a vote. Here's how it works.
Ask
Any citizen can ask a question — about roads, water, governance, constitutional rights, or civic issues. In your own language.
QIE™ Analysis
The Question Intelligence Engine analyzes your question across 15+ dimensions — constitutional mapping, neutrality, public impact, and more.
AQV™ Card
The AI Question Visualizer transforms your question into a visual card — a neutral summary, why it matters, key facts, and an AI image.
Vote
Citizens review the full card and cast their vote. One verified account, one vote, with results anyone can read.
AI that understands your question
When you ask a question, QIE runs it through six specialized engines — each evaluating a different dimension of quality, relevance, and constitutional validity.
Intent Detection
Identifies whether it's a question, complaint, suggestion, or petition.
Constitutional Mapping
Links your question to relevant articles, directive principles, and laws.
Neutrality Scoring
Detects bias, persuasion, and loaded language to ensure fairness.
Duplicate Detection
Checks if a similar question already exists to avoid fragmentation.
Public Impact
Assesses urgency, people affected, and scale of the issue.
Quality Scoring
Evaluates grammar, clarity, completeness, and legal relevance.
Understand before you vote
Every question gets an AI-generated visual card — so no citizen votes blind. A neutral summary, why it matters, quick facts, and a safe image, assembled through a 4-stage pipeline.

Assembly
Final card assembled for citizen review
Cards are checked for persuasion, harm and graphic content before they publish. The check is automated, so readers can report anything it misses.
Your vote
Stored separately from your account and reported only in aggregate, so a vote cannot be traced back to a person.
Your account
Verified by email or phone before it can vote, so one account counts once on each question.
Your data
Encrypted in transit. The processors we rely on are named in the Privacy Policy.
The Nation in Your Pocket
Vote, report issues, and track governance — anytime, anywhere, in your language.

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know
Is my vote really anonymous?
Your vote is stored separately from your account and reported only in aggregate, so a vote cannot be traced back to a person.
How do you stop duplicate voting?
Each account is verified by email or phone, and one account can cast one vote on a question. We ask for an identity reference and keep only its last four digits; it is not checked against UIDAI records.
Can I vote in my regional language?
Public Poll is available in English, Hindi and Kannada, and questions are translated into all three.
What is the Poll Integrity Engine?
An automated pipeline that checks every question for neutral wording, legal safety, duplicates and public impact before it goes live, and attaches links to the official sources it references.
Is this affiliated with the Government of India?
No. Public Poll is an independent civic-technology platform. We route insights to relevant departments, but we are not a government body.
